Use a private network
In Windows Settings, confirm the current home or office network is marked Private. Public mode is more restrictive and is not recommended for local device discovery.
Allow the app
- Open Windows Security.
- Choose Firewall & network protection.
- Choose Allow an app through firewall.
- Find AirTeleport and allow it on Private networks.
If AirTeleport is not listed
Start AirTeleport again so Windows can show the permission prompt. Allow access on the private network. Discovery traffic must be able to reach the app for the iPhone to see the PC.
Only enable Public network access when you understand and trust that network.
